Explanation of working principle of thermocouple

Thermocouple is mainly K type, T type, S type, R type, B type, N Type, E Type, J type and so on 8 kinds of conventional models.

  How A thermocouple works: Two conductors of different composition (called thermocouple wires or thermoelectrodes) are joined at two ends to form a circuit. When the temperatures of the two joint points are different, an electromotive force is generated in the circuit. This phenomenon is known as the thermoelectric effect, this electromotive force is called a thermoelectric potential. Thermocouples use this principle to make temperature measurements, where one end is called the working end (also called the measuring end) and the other end is called the cold end (also called the compensating end) The cold end is connected to a display instrument or a matching instrument that indicates the thermoelectric potential generated by the thermocouple.
